Dear CIE members:
I would like to thank you for your support to our GNYC. We have sponsored several activities in year 2009, including a field trip to visit Johnson & Johnson for student chapters in May, the Zhan Tian-You Tennis Cup Tennis in June, a picnic in July for networking among the members, and annual convention in October. We have continued to work with student chapters in local universities. I’m looking forward to your continuous support in the coming years. It’s the time for our chapter members to elect new Board of Directors. The new and staying directors will elect and/or be elected as officers: vice president, treasurer and secretary in January 2010. This year we will elect 3 new Board of Directors with a full term (4-Year, 2010-2014). The CIE-USA/GNYC Nomination Committee is very pleased to announce three very capable and enthusiastic candidates: Dr. Howard Chen, Dr. Kevin Lu, and Dr. LiChi Po. Their bios are attached for your reference. The ballot is also attached.
